Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist senior members of the Investment Management team with custom portfolio construction and implementation, strategy changes and deployment schedules
  • Develop a deep understanding of proprietary portfolio models, asset classes, investment products and process
  • Prepare client balance sheets and performance reports
  • Provide security level or company level analysis of investments as requested by clients and internal teams
  • Manage performance reporting for external private investments
  • Perform ad hoc analyses for clients’ financial and estate planning needs
  • Participate in client-directed equity, fixed income, and option trading
  • Prepare subscription agreements for alternative investments
  • Work with Client Service teams on client-directed cash raises and new cash deployments
  • Monitor client portfolios for cash drag and tax-loss harvesting opportunities
  • Review proprietary portfolio holdings for enhancement opportunities and present ideas to senior Investment Management associates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong interest in investments and portfolio management
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
  • Responds to client communications within 24 hours with most responses within the same day, if possible
