Client Service Associate


Location: San Francisco, CA  

Compensation: $85,000 to $100,000 (DOE) + Annual Discretionary Bonus

Who We’re Looking For

Syon Capital is seeking a full-time Client Services Analyst to assist the team in providing best-in-class service to our valued clients. The ideal candidate enjoys tackling challenges, finding innovative solutions, and pursuing inquiries until clear, logical answers are attained. We value individuals who work independently while also contributing to a formidable team dynamic. As a key point of contact, the ideal candidate takes pride in being a trusted problem solver to both our clients and firm.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a key contact for client requests on designated client relationships
  • Respond to client inquiries and communications within 24 hours with most response within the same day
  • Initiate wires, transfers, and checks for money movements in Schwab Advisor Center
  • Open new accounts by collecting client information, completing forms, and routing to client for signature
  • Manage client account maintenance by updating client contact information as needed
  • Partner with relationship managers to submit trading tasks to Syon Capital’s investment team in the CRM
  • Complete subscription documents for alternative investments in CAIS/iCapital
  • Partner with the Investment team on new cash deployments and portfolio creation
  • Provide out-of-office coverage for other members of the client services team
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and projects assigned

What You Have

  • 3-4 years of prior experience in a client facing role within the financial services field
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA required (a degree in the Humanities is a plus)
  • FINRA Series 65
  • Beginner level knowledge with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Black Diamond, Salentica/salesforce, Schwab Advisor, and CAIS/iCapital is a plus
  • A high degree of thoroughness with careful and deliberate attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A mindset that values every task, big or small
  • Hybrid/remote setting—In office Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday WFH
